Biography
Meonyez Goodwin was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and received a Bachelor's degree in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies from The College of Wooster. After receiving her degree, Meonyez moved to New Orleans where she worked as a trainer at a local non-profit, The Posse Foundation Inc., which focuses on youth development and education access. During her time as a trainer, she mentored students, facilitated workshops on social issues, and provided academic support to the scholars at Case Western Reserve University and The University of Notre Dame.

Meonyez realized her passion and purpose were in student development and providing intentional resources to all campuses. In 2021, Meonyez transitioned to be an Academic Success Coach here at Tulane University, and she brought her warm personality and optimism to every student she encountered.

Her excitement continues as the Senior Program Coordinator and Meonyez is eager to see students discover their strengths, talents, and goals to achieve their highest potential at Tulane. Meonyez believes in being a guiding light and she is ready to engage in programming that allows students to find success in their personal and academic journeys.
