Biography
Charles (He/Him/His) was born and raised in the state of Hawai'i on the island of O'ahu. He grew up in a musical household which nurtured his musical talents and later inspired him to pursue an education and career in music. He earned both his bachelors and masters degrees in music with a focus on vocal performance and has had the pleasure to perform all over the world. He eventually became interested in higher education and academic equity through his graduate assistantship with the Asian/Pacific American Student Services at the University of Northern Colorado. There, the programs and support he provided to help his fellow students sparked his new passion to help make every student's collegiate experience more equitable.

Charles is a big food lover. Whether it be eating at a new restaurant or cooking food for his loved ones, it doesn't matter. He loves it all! He also loves the outdoors, karaoke, and anything spontaneous.
