What is Digital Inclusion?

Digital Inclusion (DI) describes a holistic/realistic approach to engagement in higher education. It does not only focus on the technology itself but is centered on what we do with technology to enable and empower learners of all ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and career trajectories to progress along a pathway to success. The COVID-19 pandemic has put remote learning at the forefront of learning; however, students have disparate access to technology and digital literacy.

In line with our mission and values, the Center for Academic Equity is offering Tulane student body different resources to freely pursue degrees and career specializations in whatever our students desire, providing digital and technological support in all the steps of the way. This way the we will close the digital divide that impedes the continuation of tertiary education for some students.
