Abi Mbaye is the Senior Program Coordinatorfor enrichment and Grants. She is responsible for educational programming in support of the academic growth of the Center for Academic Equity student communities which include DACA and undocumented, LGBTQ-identifying, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Abi is also responsible for administering grants and fellowship as well as managing Equity Thursdays and the center speaker series.
Abi is a Tulane Alumni where she received her Bachelor’s degrees in English, Public Health and Africana Studies as well as her Master’s in English. She went to receive her second Masters in African Studies at UCLA.
Abi enjoys shopping, sleeping and reading during her free time as well as discussing Harry Potter and various social justice issues.
